New baby, Time for a new blog!

The "Becoming Ryleigh" blog will officially be ending. Don't worry another blog is here! Since we have another little girl on the way it is only fair to start fresh with a new blog where the focus is on both kiddos growing up.

Happy 2nd Birthday!

So it has been a few months since I have posted any updates, but I guess better late then never!

We took a trip to the OMSI (Oregon Museum of Science and Industry) and Ryleigh loved the kids science center. We had lots of fun and took lots of pictures.

For Ryleigh's second birthday, I just didn't think it would be fair to do a "red, white and blue" themed party again. So this year we did mermaids and fishes! We had a HUGE turn-out for the 4th of July bash and tons of fireworks! Ryleigh actually slept through the most of it, but got to enjoy her some of her cake the next day! 

Funny of the week: Ryleigh is screaming and crying. Dad says "would you like me to give you something to cry about?" Ryleigh says "Yesss!"

Things she is doing as a big girl:

Asking to use the potty-not actually going yet

Putting her words together to make sentences and is still saying new words everyday

Likes to try to put on her own clothes-sometimes inside out or backwards

Putting her shoes on all by her self

Enjoys singing along to the radio

Loves to dance-break dancing, swaying and twirling

Still in a size 4 diaper and barely wearing 2T

22 Months- Summer Time Fun

Although it is only spring...it feels like summer! We have had 80 degree weather almost every day this week. 

New things Ryleigh is up to:

~ It seems like almost overnight Ryleigh has taken a huge interest in books. She would never just sit in my lap while I read a book to her, but now she loves it!

~Favorite show is Curious George

~Really loves shoes (and TuTu's), but is very particular about which ones she will wear

~Enjoys spending time outside

~ EXTREMELY attached to her Daddy

 

21 Months~Happy Easter!

This Easter weekend was beautiful! It was great to spend the entire weekend outside. I feel so blessed to have such a great family!

Things she is doing:
~Likes to say "no" A LOT!
~Likes stickers
~Favorite foods are freeze-dried banana, cereal bars, fruit, veggie straws
~Still in size 4 diapers and wearing 2T clothes
~Learning how to jump and drink from a big cup
