Birthday Pictures

I just realized I didn't share very many of Ryleigh's birthday party pictures. Here they are:

A week with Dede!-Almost 13 months

Last week Ryleigh's Dede (Grandma) came to town for a visit. Unfortunately, I had to work all week, but Ryleigh, Dede and David got to go on many fun adventures. They went to the park, took a trip to the zoo and when I was finally able to get away from work we all went to the beach and played in the sand. Ryleigh really loved visiting with her! Two days after Dede left,  both David and I heard Ryleigh say "bye bye Dede".

Ryleigh really loved having her feet in the sand and water. She wanted to run free!

Now it is Sunday and we are sad that Dede is gone. We really loved having her here! So to take our mind off Dede leaving we took a quick trip to the farm! Blueberry farm! We walked thru the field of blueberries and purchased a bunch of locally grown fruit. Ryleigh really loves being outside!

Ryleigh loved the blueberries and nectarines, but she would not even try the blackberries or marionberries. She loved the blueberries so much lets just say her number 2 was blue! David said it smelled like blueberry muffins.

First Steps!!!

Big news! Ryleigh starting taking some steps yesterday. I was able to get it on video today for your viewing pleasure. She is getting very brave and just letting go and standing or walking all on her own. Soon she will be running all over the place.

Happy Happy Birthday!

Ryleigh turns one! It is unbelievable that this little girl was only 3.5lbs one year ago(18lbs now). We love watching her grow and change everyday!

Things she is doing now:
~Eating everything. Loves anything we are eating!
~Clapping and waving, but only when she feels like it
~Getting into everything...opening drawers and doors
~She really does not like anything on her head (no hats, bows, boxes or pants)
~Just started standing on her own, but as soon as she realizes she is standing she sits right down

Day at the Beach!

Oh what a Birthday week! My family flew into town and we rented a beach house and headed to Cannon Beach. This was Ryleigh first time visting the pacific ocean. We had a really great time playing in the waves. Here are some pictures from our trip.
