In case you need more Ryleigh...Here she is

Even though Ryleigh is not crawling she can sure move around. She is really good about turning and going backwards. We are in big trouble when she figures out how to move forward. She is getting up on her knees on her own and rocking back and forth so she is getting really close!

We have been continuing to explore new foods and Ryleigh really like most anything we give her. I tried some spinach and potatoes and she was making some pretty funny faces.

Also, she likes to tap here foot a lot...every time we put her on the counter in her bumbo seat she is just tapping away! We are also working on waving "hello" and clapping.
Where's Ryleigh

How did she get stuck like this??

Stuck

She really was not too sure about the spinach and potatoes...Can you blame her?

Here is a the latest crafty project I finished....they are teething necklaces :)

Happy Easter!

We had a wonderful Easter. Wish we could have spent it with family, but we enjoyed the day none the less. We had a rare 70 degree day! Unfortunately, after a few minutes in the back yard Ryleigh had a bad allergic reaction to the pollen so we didn't get to spend as much time in the back yard as we would have liked.

I decided not to do an Easter egg hunt this year...I just didn't see the point since she can't go find them. Next year she will be able to hunt for eggs.

On a final note, for Easter dinner I tried my first attempt at prime rib and it sure was amazingly good!

All of Ryleigh's goodies from the Easter bunny and family! Thank you!

9 Months Old~ Update

We went to the doctor for Ryleigh's 9 month check up and her are her new stats:
~16lb 11 oz
~27 7/8in long
~17in Head circumference

Ryleigh it still growing appropriately  and is in the 50th percentile for height and 25th percentile for weight. These are still on the "normal" baby growth chart.

Also, we tried Puffs for the first time today...for those of you who don't know a puff is a little snack made of puffed grain and fruit. Basically, they dissolve in the mouth and help babies learn to feed themselves. She seemed to really enjoy them, but see for yourself.
